Citizens will be able to send their money abroad at post offices in local currency via Zolotaya Korona international money transfer system


Serious measures have been recently implemented by Azerpost LLC in the sphere of postal and financial services. As a result of these measures, the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies is now able to provide the population of the country with high quality postal and financial services though the network covering the entire territory of the republic.
 
At present, the national postal operator, Azerpost LLC, along with traditional postal services, provides the citizens of country with a wide range of financial services. One of the financial services enables citizens to carry out international money transfer operations on favorable terms in various currencies.
 
Today, international money transfer systems like Western Union, Contact, Caspian Money Transfer and Zolotaya Korona are being used in a number of branches and offices of Azerpost LLC. Using these systems, citizens can send and receive money from foreign countries within a short period of time anywhere in the country.
 
Azerpost LLC implements innovations jointly with its partners to further improve the money transfer systems and make them more user-friendly.  Thus, from now on, with the help of Zolotaya Korona international money transfer system, citizens will be able to send money abroad in national currency from the post offices of Baku and Sumgait post branches of Azerpost LLC.  
 
In other words, citizens will be able to send money via Zolotaya Korona money transfer system to their relatives and acquaintances living in foreign countries not only in Russian rubles, US dollars and euros, but also in manats.
 
Note that previously, before sending their money abroad, citizens had to convert it into one of the abovementioned foreign currencies, which was not convenient and resulted in time loss for citizens.  But now the system will automatically convert the local currency into Russian rubles, US dollars or euros.
