Microsoft, Facebook, Twitter and Google join forces in fight against terrorism online


Technology giants Microsoft, Facebook, Twitter and Google will join forces in the fight against terrorist content on the Web.
 
The decision was the result of a meeting of representatives of companies with the heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs G7, which was held on October 20 on the Italian island of Ischia.
 
Representatives of companies participated in the session devoted to the fight against terrorism on the Internet. Cooperation participants of the meeting agreed to strengthen in several areas.
 
So, the companies intend to share automated technologies that will help to quickly identify and remove terrorist content.
 
Cooperation will allow exchanging the most effective technologies to improve the protection of small companies.
 
In addition, it is planned to expand the information base through scientific research.
 
Following the meeting, Italian Interior Minister Marco Minnithi said that today the fight against terrorism on the Internet has become particularly significant.
