Aztelekom starts implementing 4G technology in regions

Aztelekom Limited Liability Company of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies is modernizing the telecommunications infrastructure by implementing new technologies in regions.

Thus, as a result of the projects carried out over the last year, outdated equipment was replaced with new equipment in some regions.

At the same time, Aztelekom implemented  4th generation technology (4G) in the areas without telephone connection in order to provide these areas with internet services.

Thus, as a pilot project, a wireless network was installed in Hulovlu and Qarachı villages in Khachmaz region, and receiving equipment was installed in the houses of local residents.

As a result of these measures, the residents of these villages can now access internet services and other multimedia services.

The installed equipment allows subscribers to access 100 Mbit/sec internet.

In the future, Aztelekom will continue to implement 4G technology in the remote rural areas with rugged relief.
