‘KÜR’ Electron Equipment Plant is continuing to manufacture double-monitor keyboard information kiosks, photo kiosks, information kiosks, wall information kiosks, internet kiosks and info kiosks. Demand for the information and internet wall kiosks among the abovementioned products has significantly increased.
This information was provided to ‘ICTnews’ by the plant’s director, Rizvan Osmanov. According to him, all these kiosks are of different types and have different functions. ‘Info kiosks, for example, are used for delivering large volumes of information and news on a regular bases. Internet kiosks, however, can be used for any purpose. They, for example, can be used for checking e-mails, speaking with other people via ‘Skype’, watching videos or making online calls.
These kiosks have now been installed in the Ministries of Emergency, Health, central post offices of the Ministry of Communication and IT, the State Social Protection Fund, ‘Qafqaz’ University, Baku State University and in many other places.
