The State Fund has two functions. The first is the payment of pensions which is fully automated. The second is submitting reports on the collection of social insurance premiums as of the year.
At the present time the State Social Protection Fund is working to develop and implement software to perform operations on assigning pensions from a single center, Chairman Salim Muslimov said in a speech at the board meeting of the fund.
He said the fund rendered about 20 interactive and informational e-services to the country's population.
"The basic services provided to pensioners and insurers by the fund are available in electronic form. State Fund will continue to work to improve the electronic document, the further introduction of information and communication technologies," Muslimov said.
Assigning pensions to be fully automated in Azerbaijan by late 2012
