A group of Russian scientists from the Information Security Center of Innopolis University are working to create a unique virtual protection against cyber attacks.
According to them, the new defense system will be able to recognize up to 98% of such attacks.
The system will process large volumes of data, coupled with the work of artificial intelligence able to learn and respond quickly to suspicious network activity. It can be said that with the new method of determination, the state of the system is constantly monitored.
Such a system, compared to the existing systems, can more effectively restore the network operability.
Scientists are planning to complete the tests by the end of next year and in the final form the new development will be a whole software and hardware complex.
Recall that today in the world one can recognize two and a half thousand cyber attacks. Their target often becomes information of particular importance. Damage is estimated in billions of dollars. Modern detection mechanisms are not able to determine even half of such malicious intrusions, according to Planet Today.
