Aztelecom PU is continuing the implementation of the "Optical Cable to All Villages" project. A number of works have already been completed within the project. Thus, the first stage of works ended with launching 25,000 ports in 20 regions.
Now, Aztelecom together with some private providers are building a cable line with the total length of 1,500 kilometers. Optical cable lines are also being built in the villages located in the northern part of the country. The Guba Telecommunication Hub is well ahead of others in realization of the project.
The Khachmaz Telecommunication Hub has already completed the construction of Khachmaz-Khudat-Pirgulu optical cable line. Similar works have been accomplished in Gusar region.
Let’s note that by realizing this large-scale project, Aztelecom paves the way for the computerization of all post offices of Azerpocht so that they could render banking and financial services to the people.
