State Civil Aviation Administration completes work on creation e-services system
The State Civil Aviation Administration has completed 80-90% of its activities connected with the creation of system for rendering electronic services in various spheres.
This information was provided to ‘ICTnews’ by Alaskar Abdullayev, the chief adviser of The State Civil Aviation Administration. According to him, the Azerbaijan Hava Yollari (AZAL) Closed Joint Stock Company is currently preparing documents as part of these activities. ‘AZAL’s experts are developing various programs which will be used in rendering e-services. The largest part of the work has already been completed. A section called ‘e-Services’ is now being created on the official web-site of the State Civil Aviation Administration.
The system will soon be launched, according to the President Ilham Aliyev’s decree. We would like to express our gratitude to the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies for providing us with valuable advises during the implementation of this project.
The Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies has provided us with all necessary instructions and recommendations. As to the e-services to be rendered by the State Civil Aviations, all activities connected with e-services will implemented based on the ‘List of Electronic Services’ approved by the Cabinet of Ministers. The scope of e-services provided by the State Civil Aviations includes providing permission for flights to Azerbaijan Republic, providing licenses for air carriage of passengers and cargoes, providing certificates to agencies that are engaged in selling and booking of tickets for air flights.
Besides that, providing special permissions for air carriage of products indicated in the Export Control List, which was approved by the Cabinet of Minister’s order on ‘Control of Export’ dated December 15, 2005, is also included in the range of electronic services to be rendered by the State Civil Aviation Administration, A. Abdullayev said.
