Over 21,000 people’s computers have been sold in Azerbaijan


Significant growth has been observed in the sales volume of the computers which are being sold to the population within the “People’s Computer” project in Azerbaijan.

According to information revealed by “ICTnews” online news service, the number of people’s computers sold to people at discounted prices has reached 21,250 units. “Under the conditions of the project pupils, students and teachers of schools and universities as well as medical workers may obtain computers with a 12 month interest-free credit at the prices which are 25-40 percent lower that market prices.

All people’s computers and notebooks have been downloaded with licensed program software,” the information says.

Note that the “People’s Computer” project is being jointly implemented by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies, Ministry of Education, HP and Microsoft companies. “BestComp Group” company is an operator of the Project.
