Quality and range of IT services increased in Azerbaijan
The Communications and Information Technology Ministry of Azerbaijan has held a session to review solution of current matters.
IT Minister Ali Abbasov said in his remarks to the meeting that information and communication technologies play an increased role in country’s economy.
The quality and range of services have increased due to wide ranging measures taken over the past years and significant work has been done to upgrade the IT sector.
The meeting also discussed broadband communication services, work done within AzDatakom network, steps taken to apply e-signature, current state of e-government program, execution of issues rising from introduction of Digital TV, launch of first telecommunications satellite into orbit, work done in the field of mail, raising quality of services in this area and toughening control to offer better services to population.
