The number of people who insert gadgets in their skins increases

“The number of brave enthusiasts who insert gadgets in their skins is increasing rapidly. They insert chips and electronic passports in their bodies. And according to researchers, it is expected that implanted phones will be widely used by people before 2023. The idea of the universal "chipization" of people has been discussed for a long time, and often in a negative way. However, while the debate continues, the technique itself is slowly but surely getting closer to the human body.

And a kind of "cyborgization" is not far off. This, of course, will not turn people into robots, but will greatly expand their capabilities,” gazeta.ru says.  Development of "implanted" technologies primarily aimed at taking care of users’ health and facilitating daily manipulations (payment of purchases, public transportation, etc.).

In addition to that, these technologies will allow taking a new look at communication between people.  Of course, the insertion of technologies in the skin carries risks of privacy invasion or health injury.   But these problems can be solved through a unique and strong encryption of each device in the body.

Back in November 2015, experts of the World Economic Forum presented an extensive report  reflecting the predictions for the future. One of the themes of the document concerns the possibility of the emergence of “implanted” phones by 2023.
