Some 823 unregistered radio-electronic units found in Azerbaijan
The Azerbaijani State Administration for Radio Frequencies' Ether Control Department has found 823 unregistered radio electronic units within nine months of 2011, the administration said.
The administration operates under the Communications and IT Ministry. The administration carried out an inspection of 617 enterprises and organizations.
Of the total number of unregistered radio electronic units, 329 units have been sealed, 275 units were registered, 27 units were removed from service and the remaining 192 are in the registration process. Some 88 protocols were filed against the users of unregistered radio-electronic units.
