Natural disaster didn’t cause any harm to Lerik-Lenkaran optical cable highway
According to information provided by “Aztelekom” PA, the landslide, which took place on Lerik – Lenkaran motorway, did not cause any problems to the communication line connecting the two regions.
The information says that after the communication between these two regions had disappeared, the Road and Transportation Division’s officers and the officers of “Aztelekom” PA’s emergency service came to the scene.
The information further says that if there is any problem with optical cable highway it can be solved with help of Lerik-Yardimli analog communication line.
Let’s remind that the natural disaster occurred in the southern region of the country. As a result of these calamity objects of social and economical sphere as well as private properties sustained severe damages.
Currently, measures are being implemented with use of technical equipment, machinery and labor force to eliminate consequences of the natural disaster. Movement of traffic along Lerik – Lenkaran motorway has resumed.
