AI unmanned police booth to offer services in Fuzhou

An unmanned police service station opened in Changle District, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, Oct. 30, 2018.

The station, empowered by artificial intelligence and facial recognition, allows people to process on their own a number of civil affairs that usually require the presence of police officers, including matters related to IDs, residence permits, entry and exit procedures, and traffic fines, using the automatic machines available there.

It became the first fully automated police station in China that operates around the clock and provides border crossing services.
