US scientists create robot-amphibian

US scientists have unveiled a new robot-amphibian named Valex. It was noted that this robot can not only swim or to crawl on the ground, but slide on the ice.

“Valex is looks like a sea creature – has two rubber fins that can change the speed and angle of movement. And this allows it to instantly adapt to any conditions and stay on any surface”, the scientists said.

Valex is operated with the use of remote control.

Earlier it was reported that in China, engineers have created a robot-spider. The robot has a compact size of 20 by 20 inches. The robot can help rescuers during search operations.

It also became known that the company Boston Dynamics taught to dance the robot Spot Mini.
