Innovation Agency hosts meeting with representatives of US Caspian Policy Center
A meeting with representatives of the US Caspian Policy Center was held at the Innovation Agency of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies.
First, the guests were informed in detail about the activities of the agency, the measures and plans to be implemented, and the work done for the development of high technologies in Azerbaijan.
The participants of the meeting discussed issues relating to the commercialization of innovative services of Azerbaijani startups operating in various fields and the establishment of business partnership between them and government agencies, transnational, and international companies within the framework of the “COMmercialize startUP – ComUP” program.
For this purpose, Director of the Caspian Policy Center Efgan Nifti; Member of the Board, the former US Ambassador to the Republic of Azerbaijan Robert Cekuta; and Rear Admiral Ron McLaren were familiarized with the relevant projects of the Innovation Agency’s Business Incubation & Acceleration Center.
Towards the end of the meeting, the employees of the Innovation Agency and the representatives of the analytical center exchanged their views on the prospects for future cooperation and the work to be done to develop the startup ecosystems in Azerbaijan.
