Xiaomi announced a microwave oven with Wi-Fi and voice control
Xiaomi, through its collective financing platform, has started fundraising for the microwave oven, which will be released in the Mijia line of smart home appliances. It's main feature is microcrystalline plate heating.
The device, which does not yet have an official market name, supports control from a smartphone through the Mijia application. For this purpose, the oven is equipped with a Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11b/g/n module. The microwave can be controlled even with voice commands.
The built-in WiFi module in the microwave oven supports access to the Mijia APP for operation, and also supports the voice operation of Xiao Ai. In addition, in terms of safety, Mijia microwave oven adopts turbulent structure design, four-layer tempered glass door, triple door lock protection switch, new mesh design and high-efficiency shielding of microwave.
White color and simple design which continue the milimalism of Xiaomi. The internal volume is 20 litres, it has several heating modes as well as a special mode for defrosting foods. Maximum power of operation is 1150 W, weight is 12.1 kg with dimensions of 447 x 347 x 281 mm.
Xiaomi Mijia microwave oven uses microcrystalline plate heating, 700W large firepower heating, no need to rotate, not afraid of soup food heating, cavity space is sufficient, surface smooth microwave evenly distributed, food is all-round heat, easier to clean. In addition, the Mijia microwave oven has a 60-second high-fire fast-heat mode, and the knob is pressed to make it hot. There are four modes of thawing, recipe, sterilization and self-selection.
The new product will go on sale on August 1 at a price of only about $58.
