Headphones AirPods predicted a global shortage due to coronavirus
Experts predicted the AirPods headphones from Apple the global shortage. According to the Agency Nikkei, this is due to problems in the production, provoked by the spread of the coronavirus.
It is noted that a number of Apple suppliers are faced with the need to discontinue production of AirPods. The key plants that collect the headset from the “Apple” brand, are Luxshare-ICT, Goertek and Inventec, but now these companies are waiting for the supplies required for the production of headphones. The American company hopes that partners will return to production on February 10. If this does not happen within the next two weeks to avoid a global shortage of AirPods unlikely.
There is evidence that even before the spread of the coronavirus in the Apple has placed an order for 45 million pairs of headphones. First, the production wanted to move to Vietnam, but this idea of “Apple” brand declined amid easing tensions between the US and China. Now on the official Apple website in Russia AirPods Pro is available for ordering only if the expectation of delivery within four weeks.
