Honor Play 4T and 4T Pro launched with 48MP cameras: price, specifications
Honor Play 4T and Honor Play 4T Pro smartphones have been launched in China after their renders and specifications leaked online just a few days ago. The Honor Play 4T Pro is the more premium of the two models as it features the Kirin 810 SoC, OLED display, triple rear cameras and 22.5W fast charging. While the vanilla Honor Play 4T ships with specifications like a punch-hole display, Kirin 710A SoC and dual rear cameras. Both the Honor 4T Play series are affordable mid-range smartphones with prices starting from RMB 1,199 (approx Rs 13,000).
Honor Play 4T price is set at RMB 1,199 (approx Rs 13,000) for the single 6GB + 128GB model and will be available in Black and Blue colours. The Honor Play 4T Pro costs RMB 1,499 (approx Rs 16,000) for the 6GB + 128GB variant and RMB 1,699 (approx Rs 18,400) for the 8GB + 128GB model. The Honor Play 4T Pro will be available in three colours Black, Emerald Green, and Icelandic Vision.
The Honor Play 4T sports a 6.39-inch HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio, 90 percent screen-to-body ratio and a punch-hole cutout to accommodate the selfie snapper. It is powered by Huawei’s in-house Kirin 710A SoC coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage that is further expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card. The handset runs on Android 10 with Magic UI 3.1 custom skin overlaid on top.
As for the optics, the Honor Play 4T has a 48MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth lens for portrait shots. On the front, there is an 8MP snapper for selfies and video chats. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. The Honor Play 4T packs a 4,000mAh battery with no support for fast charging. It measures 159.81 x 76.13 x 8.13 mm and weighs at 176 grams.
Specifications for the Honor Play 4T Pro include a 6.3-inch full HD+ OLED display with 1,080 X 2,400 pixels resolution and Always-On-Display to quickly check notifications. It gets the powerful Kirin 810 SoC paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage that is further expandable via microSD card. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie with Magic UI 2.0 custom skin on top. It measures 157.4 x 73.2 x 7.75 mm and weighs in at 165 grams.
The Honor Play 4T pro has triple-cameras at the back with a 48MP primary unit accompanied by an 8MP secondary lens and a 2MP sensor. It has a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor for security and a 4,000mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support.
