Last year was victorious year for “Communications Worker” club’s sportsmen
In 2011, like it was in the previous years, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies gave 5,615,000 manats to “Communications Worker” Sporting Club in order to promote sports among workers of the communications sphere.
In result of this care the Sporting Club’s athletes have won 31 gold, 29 silver and 42 bronze medals in the republican championship and international competitions.
The “Communications Baku” volleyball team took the first places in 1 and 2-nd rounds of 2010-2011 Azerbaijan Championship and became the 4-th time champion of Azerbaijan. After that, the team took part in the World Championship held in Doha city of Qatar, and by winning all its rivals there it became the holder of the World Champion title.
