Number of 3G services users tops two million in Azerbaijan
Though 3G services were launched in Azerbaijan just a few months ago, there are more than 2,000,000 users there.
The statement came from Minister of Communication and Information technologies Ali Abbasov.
He said the number of users continues to grow. Private communication enterprises constitute for the most revenues in ICT, information and postal sector.
Licensing private operators providing 3G mobile communication services, a significant drop in tariffs on internet services, speedy growth in the weight of broadband internet, creation of favorable conditions for activity of providers in the regions promote the increase in services offered to users by providers along with raising the conditions of competition.
