At the initial stage according to the new rules, the names and numbers will be assigned to the entrance of the building in around 80 streets and avenues of Baku.
According to the changes, the objects of transport infrastructure are coded and the figures are entered into the database to keep the register. For this purpose, the State Committee previously announced tender to establish an information system of an address register in Azerbaijan, won by the Korean company SK C & C Co. LTD. The company has already started the relevant work and the system is planned to be launched in early 2013.
Coverage of information systems agreed in Azerbaijan integrates with address register
The Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan has determined the coverage zone of information systems of other public bodies which will be integrated with the address register, Cabinet of Ministers reported.
