Official data on the sale of personal computers and notebooks within the framework of the People’s Computer project in Azerbaijan have been made public.
According to the official website of the project, since the moment of its launching and until 29 December 2011, the citizens of the country brought 15,955 PCs and notebooks on preferential terms.
A month earlier the indicator made 15,872 and on 7 January of this year it made 10,500 while in early 2010 it was over 4,000. Thus, 5,455 PCs and notebooks have been bought since early 2010.
The People’s Computer project was launched on 10 April of 2009.
