An international event on the theme of “Radio Spectrum Management and Radio Monitoring” was held in Seoul, South Korea, as part of the ICT Expert Training Program.
The main topics of the event, which was attended by representatives from about 20 countries, were 5G technology, radio spectrum management, radio frequency auctions in South Korea, interference regulation, and the latest radio monitoring technologies.
Azerbaijan was represented at the event by representatives of the State Administration of Radio Frequencies of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies.
Having familiarized themselves with the Korean experience, our specialists took part in discussions on radio monitoring networks, management methods, including tariff policy and relevant legislation.
Along with theoretical and practical activities, competitions were held within the event. Our specialists took part in these activities and competitions and were awarded International ICT Expert Certificates.
During the visit, meetings were held with representatives of a number of international organizations and industry experts.
It should be noted that international experience in the management of the radio spectrum and radio frequencies is of great importance for the transformation of new technologies into our country.
The International Telecommunication Union considers South Korea to be a model country in radio spectrum management.
