“The myth of the danger of charging up to 100% is based on the fact that after reaching full charge, few users disconnect the device from the outlet: you probably don’t watch the indicator to stop the process at that very moment. The smartphone remaining on the charge continues to feed to maintain 100% charge, which means that the battery continues to heat up under the influence of the mains voltage,” he said.
According to the expert, it is best to remove the smartphone from charging when it reaches 90%, reports iz.ru.
