



Innovation Agency under Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies received $ 2 million grant

Within the framework of the project, it is planned to prepare an innovative master plan in Azerbaijan, implement a pilot project and strengthen human resources in the relevant field. To implement the project, KOICA has allocated a grant of $ 2 million to the Innovation Agency.
This project will contribute to improving the efficiency of innovation policy and the process of its implementation, as well as to the development of a sustainable innovation system in Azerbaijan. The project is planned to be implemented in the period of 2021-2024.
It should be noted that the Innovation Agency under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies provides support to the areas of activity that relate to the non-oil sector. In order to ensure a stronger and more sustainable economic activity, the Agency plans to implement projects aimed at applying innovations at the level of both private sector and government agencies.
