The Chinese multinational electronics company TCL launched its TCL 20 5G smartphone during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) earlier this year. Now reputed tipster Evan Blass has leaked six new devices under the TCL 20 Series by peaking into the Android Developers’ Device Catalogue. These six smartphones are TCL 20 Pro, TCL 20E, TCL 20L, TCL 20L+, TCL 20S, and TCL 20Y. Let us take a look at them and see what has been leaked so far.
It comes with a codename “Ottawa” and is expected to flaunt a 6.67-inch Full HD+ screen like its forerunner, TCL 20 5G. Under the hood, this smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC paired with 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM.
Both TCL 20L and 20L+ smartphones represent the budget lineup of the company and are codenamed Richland and Richland Pro respectively. These smartphones are powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 662, which is a budget-range SoC from Qualcomm. In terms of memory, the TCL 20L will have 4GB of RAM whereas the TCL 20L+ will have 6GB of RAM. However, like the Pro model, the TCL 20L Series smartphones will come with a Full HD+ resolution display. Like in the renders these smartphones will house the front camera inside a centrally aligned punch hole.
The company is about to launch three smartphones in the entry-level segment. These smartphones will include TCL 20S, 20E and 20Y. Among them, the TCL 20S has a codename of “Miami Pro”. It will feature a Full HD+ display and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset, which is quite old. In terms of RAM, it will have a capacity of 4GB.
Moving to the TCL 20E, it will bear a codename of “Hong Kong” and will sport a downgraded HD+ display resolution. Under the hood, it will be powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 in combination with 3GB of RAM. It joined by TCL 20Y that has a codename of “Hong Kong Pro”. Like the TCL 20E, the 20Y will have the same display, processor and RAM capacity. Both smartphones will feature a waterdrop notch to house the selfie camera.
TCL is expected to host a launch event on April 14 where they will unveil the new TCL 20 Series smartphones.
